Over the years we've changed rules to allow more people to race, guess what, it never happens!

On a local level we did everything we could to increase a gearbox entry and despite considerable efforts from people like yourself and the Club the entry never grew!

100 National would be an example Nationally on how we've bent over backwards and supported and changed regs and once again the entry never grew!

If we open up tyres what will happen is that you will all end up on the one make that is fastest and then another make will bring in a tyre that is faster still, then the specials appear and the people you're hoping to attract certainly can't afford those!

Your idea and lobbying misses one vital piece of human nature, people don't come racing even at club level just to make up the numbers!

I would support any move to get the same tyres long and short circuit so it's not an issue!

I doubt you'd get a single vote from those making the decision that can remember what it was like with open tyres and don't have a vested interest!
